Comares
White washed Comares is a 30 minutes drive through the beautiful countryside. At 750 metres high, take in the stunning vistas all the way down to the coast.
Quad Biking
The rolling countryside tracks that surround the cortijo are perfect for exploring with Quad bikes. Just ask and we’ll put you in touch with the right people.
Colmenar
The village of Colmenar is about 20 minutes away and is best known for its embutidos (butchers) and their wild boar meat (jabalies). And you must go and sample some local honey at the Museo de la Miel.
Horse Riding
Equestrian lovers will be able to take cross country tours, or treks along unspoilt beaches. If you’re interested we can put you in touch with the stables and riding schools in the area.
Malaga City
One of our favourite places in the world. Visit this beautiful city full of bars, restaurants and culture. We’ll be happy to throw a few suggestions your way. Only 40 minutes from the cortijo.
El Torcal De Antequera
This fascinating mountain range can be reached in less than an hour and is well worth the trip. There you’ll find incredible rock formations, caves and even neolithic artifacts.
Wine Tours
No trip to Andalusia would be complete without visiting one of its many excellent wineries. Just ask, and we’ll give you our best recommendations.
Torre Del Mar
We love visiting Torre for its relaxed atmosphere and quiet beaches. You can get here in just half an hour.
Alhambra De Granada
The perfect day trip. About an hour and a half drive away, experience the beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage site. We recommend booking tickets in advance.
Lake Viñuela
We’re so lucky to have this beautiful lake just on our doorstep. Just 20 minutes away you can find your favourite water sport here.
Caminito Del Rey
Drive an hour and a quarter for a trek around the Gaitanes gorge, along boardwalks and a hanging footbridge that stands at 105 metres high. Simply breathtaking. We recommend buying tickets in advance.
Riogordo
We are just a 15 minute drive away from the village of Riogordo which has every you need from tapas bars to bakeries. If you’re lucky you might catch the world famous Snail festival!
