ABOUT US
Having fallen in love with the countryside of Andalusia over many Spanish holidays, we decided to make it our home. After months of searching we found Cortijo El Tunante, and knew it was the perfect place to start our new way of life. We packed up the contents of our London terrace, including our cocker spaniel Coco and took the ferry ride early in 2020. The vans turned up with our furniture three days before the Covid-19 lockdown began, so we ended up spending much of the summer brandishing paintbrushes and getting the Casitas ready for your arrival… Oh, and we adopted a beautiful abandoned puppy called Penny!
Being off-grid was important to us as we strive for a more sustainable way of living. We thought we should take advantage of all of the beautiful sunshine! It’s taken us a while to get used to checking the solar charger and monitoring the water we use but it definitely made us realise we took a lot of things for granted and it’s time to change that. The slower Andalusian pace of life is irresistible and something we would like to share with you while you are here.
We understand that people want different things from holidays and so we have decided to keep the apartments self-catering whilst offering a lot of optional extras to help to keep your stay fun and relaxing.
