Bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions as agreed to at the time of booking.
- A contract between the guests and Cortijo El Tunante will come into existence when payment is received and booking is accepted by issuing a confirmation of booking for the holiday dates shown in the rental agreement. The contract binds all the members of the guests’ party. It is the guests responsibility to ensure that all members of their party accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms and conditions of booking. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract and loss of the booking.
- Unless otherwise stated, a deposit of 50% of the holiday price is payable at the time of booking. Bookings made less than 30 days before the guests’ arrival date must be accompanied by the full amount of the holiday charge and the refundable damage deposit (if requested).The balance must be paid so as to arrive no later than 30 days before the commencement of the guests’ holiday. If the balance is not received by the due date then this will be treated as a cancellation.
- All cancellations must be immediately notified by email at the earliest opportunity. A booking should not be considered cancelled until a confirmation response from [email protected]. We will always try to offer a transfer of the booking to alternative dates.
- Cancellation made 60 days or more in advance of arrival date = Full refund
- Cancellation made between 59 days and 30 days of arrival date = 50% refund (full deposit retained).
- Cancellation made 29 days or less of arrival date = No refund issued and the full amount of booking is due.
- It is strongly advised that all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance. If any guests choose not to, then they accept responsibility for any loss that may be incurred due to cancellations.
- The booking will not be cancelled by the owner except in exceptional circumstances beyond their control. Notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and Cortijo El Tunante will promptly refund all payments made. Liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to Cortijo El Tunante.
- The number of persons using the accommodation at any time must not exceed as booked and only those people listed on the booking form can occupy the apartment. Cortijo El Tunante reserves the right to terminate the booking without notice and without refund in case of a breach of this condition.
- Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under eighteen years of age.
- Cortijo El Tunante reserves the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.
- Cortijo El Tunante or representatives reserve the right to enter the apartment at any time to undertake essential maintenance or for inspection purposes.
- Tenancies normally commence at 15:00 unless otherwise agreed and guests are required to vacate the grounds by 11:00 on the day of departure. This allows the accommodation to be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for incoming guests.
- Smoking anywhere inside the casitas will result in immediate termination of occupancy and forfeiture of all payments. This must be strictly adhered to and any damage or extra cleaning caused by smoking will be at the expense of you.
- Pets are not allowed. This must be strictly adhered to and any damage or extra cleaning caused by pets will be at the expense of the guests.
- Please be mindful that there are other guests sharing communal areas – please keep noise to a minimum.
- No music is to be played after 22:00.
- Damage to property – please treat the facilities and accommodation with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. In the event that any guests notice damage in the accommodation please let staff know immediately so that they can take the appropriate action. If there have been any breakages during the stay, we would be grateful if you could replace them or advise us before you leave. The accommodation will be inspected at the end of the holiday and guests may be charged for any loss or damage found.
- Please lock the doors and close the windows when the property is left unoccupied.
- Cortijo El Tunante reserves the right to make a charge to cover additional cleaning costs if the client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition.
- Please note that in the event that any keys issued are not returned at the end of the stay, then the cost of replacement will be charged to the guests responsible.
- The client may in no circumstance re-let or sublet the property, even free of charge.
- WiFi access is available (at no extra cost) subject to technical availability. Where WiFi Internet access is provided, guests accept to use this access to the Internet fairly and appropriately. We may monitor network performance and user usage in order to maintain a fair and high level of service to all of our guests. Internet access is provided as a complimentary, supplementary, service and access to WiFi is not guaranteed. Cortijo El Tunante accepts no liability for WiFi outages or downtime and no damages will be accepted for non-availability of the service. Internet intended for general use such as access to the internet for browsing, email, messaging, social media, light video / music / media streaming. It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming or extensive downloads / uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.
- Please be aware that Cortijo El Tunante has resident dogs and will not be responsible for any damage caused by our animals.
- Cortijo El Tunante shall not be liable for any temporary defect or malfunction of any equipment, machinery or appliance in the building, grounds or pool.
- All inventory must remain in the property it was in at arrival and not be taken to another property.
- The swimming pool is available to all guests for use between 09:00 and 20:00.
- The swimming pool is unsupervised – guests are advised to exercise extreme care when using the pool facilities and swim at their own risk.
- Persons under 16 years of age are permitted to use the pool facilities only when accompanied by an adult who shall be responsible for that person’s conduct and welfare at all times.
- No smoking and or food is to be consumed in the pool. Please take care when using glass around the pool area.
- Guests may not use the swimming pool while under the influence of alcohol.
- Guests make use of the swimming pool and communal areas at their own risk and therefore the owners will not be held liable for any loss, damage or death caused in these areas by the guests. Guests should please not eat or drink at, or dive into the swimming pool.
- Children under 16 must be supervised by parents/guardians at all times.
- Cortijo El Tunante reserves the right to terminate a holiday without compensation where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking (or their guests) may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of others.
- Any problem or complaint which a guest may have concerning their holiday must be immediately reported directly to Cortijo El Tunante representatives and we will endeavour to put matters right. Any complaints not reported at the time and only reported after the guest has returned from holiday will not be considered.
- Cortijo El Tunante reserves the right to make reasonable amendments or additions to these terms and conditions without notice.
